"This has been an extraordinarily busy summer for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and its stakeholders. NRC proposed eight rules with comment periods in July and August.

It describes new nuclear reactor technology and its benefits, provides an overview of enabling federal policies, and reviews state options to incentivize local development of new reactors.
